How $5 stoves can save lives

The World Food Programme (WFP) aims to transform the lives of 20,000 women in Darfur.

WFP has a simple proposition. They will offer stoves to women in Darfur — for five dollars: $5.00. WFP needs only 20,000 people to donate $5 each to reach their goal. WFP’s technologically crafted stove can save the lives of two million (2,000,000) people, who die each year from toxic stove smoke.

The following video shows the impact a $5 stove can make.
