O lucky students at Columbia University‘s School of General Studies!
They were treated to a generous helping of inspiring wisdom from Chef Jacques Pepin during their graduation ceremony on May 16, 2010, at 9:00 A.M.
Looking ever so much like Ernest Hemingway in a dashing beard, Jacques shared passion that surmounts language, like Music — or Food. He spoke so warmly of the school that he even mentioned how he would like to go back to school again — at Columbia.
Jacques is a 1970 GS graduate. He then went on to get his Masters in French Literature from Columbia’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. This is the first time he has given a commencement/graduation address.
The secret to happiness in life?
Well, you’ll just have to watch and listen! 🙂
(Meantime, congratulations to the class of 2010!)
