The recent spate of food and cooking themed movies shows no sign of letting up – and that is a good thing. No one movie can capture all the great stories that occur in the kitchen.
The most recent addition is Jason Wolos‘ Trattoria that stars Tony Denison and John Amedori. It is making the rounds of film festivals this spring.
Inspired by real chefs and the writers’ real-life experiences in the family restaurant business, Trattoria is a drama/comedy set in the exciting San Francisco restaurant scene about a chef and his son that reconnect and heal their past through cooking.
Trattoria also features appearances by real chefs – Elizabeth Falkner, Traci Des Jardin, and Annie and Craig Stoll, Donato Scotti, Joseph Villanueva, Douglas Dale, Billy McCullough..
The film will screen at the Sonoma International Film Festival on Sat April 14th @ 5:30pm in Sonoma, California. Click here for more information.
