Just as President Obama has to come to terms with the election results after Tuesday’s Republican swing, New Yorkers are going to have to come to terms with the Semi-Homemade Cooking Show Diva, Sandra Lee, who will now be running the governor’s mansion in Albany.

Sandra is Governor-elect Andrew Cuomo‘s girlfriend. Sandra’s shtick is to use prepared and packaged, foods to jump start recipes. Her Food Network show, Semi-Homemade focuses on themed meals, place settings, and cocktails. Will visitors to Albany be offered Hot Legs with Spicy-Ranch Sauce or Grilled Cheese Dippers with Spicy Tomato-Cheese Soup?

Will Sandra join First Lady Michelle Obama‘s campaigns to improve school lunches and children’s nutrition, and encourage the canned soup companies and biscuit mix companies to improve their products? Only time will tell.
