Todd Gray: Fishing Lodge Cap Cana

Todd Gray is well on his way to being a super chef.

Come October 12 he will be running not only his Equinox and Watershed, Muse restaurants in Washington DC, but also the restaurants and bars of Fishing Lodge Cap Cana, the luxury resort in the Dominican Republic managed by Salamander Hotels & Resorts.

The Fishing Lodge provides an array of culinary selections and concepts: the open-air, Mediterranean-themed Bistrot overlooks the stunning Cap Cana Marina and serves a variety of dishes, including fresh seafood prepared with only the finest local produce. Market Salamander Grillefeatures elegant décor and offers International Cuisine throughout its multiple dining rooms during the day. Mansito Bar & Lounge provides a relaxing ambiance in which to enjoy an elegant evening drinks selection, while Bohío Bar & Grill features a beautifully crafted, circular pool bar and offers creative cocktails, ice-cold beer and delicious light fare throughout the day

The Fishing Lodge is owned by Corporacion Hotelera Del Mar, and managed by Salamander Hotels & Resorts, founded by Washington DC powerhouse Sheila C. Johnson. Todd also oversees the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Va, Market Salamander in Middleburg. In addition, he also runs a farmers market at the Ronald Reagan Building, Capital Harvest on the Plaza Farmers Market.
