As the Arab Spring spreads to the edges of the Middle East, predominantly Muslim Pakistan finds itself savaged in a video of political satire.
Bad boy band Beyghairat Brigade (“Shameless Brigade”), who are big enough for the Times of India to follow closely, have composed a little dittie hot enough to make BBC News.
The opening may remind you of Chicago‘s “25 or 6 to 4” and the placards may shout out in tribute to Bob Dylan‘s “Subterranean Homesick Blues,” but the stinging double meanings are purely local fare.
See whether you can decode the lyrics and gestures, or just sample and enjoy the fare.
