Border Grill: Tweet LAX

East Coast restaurants may have been tweeting customers to let them know they are open for business during the recent blizzards, but there are still more ways to tweet and email and generate business, even if you haven’t got nasty weather.

Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger are asking their fans to let Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) know that a Border Grill there at the airport. Customers and fans who get the email are asked to click through to write in their support to community leaders for a new Border Grill at LAX.

Here is their suggested text:

I support the bid to have Border Grill restaurant at the Los Angeles International Airport. For over 25 years, Border Grill and chef/owners Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger have been shaping the food culture of Los Angeles. Border Grill is a reflection of L.A., setting the standard for gourmet Mexican food in the city. It’s what our community wants to showcase to the world. And, it’s what I want to eat when I’m at the airport.

Who wouldn’t want a Yucutan Pork Taco or a Carne Asada Quesadilla to eat on an airplane?

(Don’t forget to ask Mary Sue and Susan to set up Facebook and Twitter sites as LAX petitions, too.)
