Yoxi: Reinvent Fast Food

Incubators that take new ideas and turn them into new companies with the help of professional guidance is somewhere behind the idea of Yoxi, the completive competition and social game. Super Chef likes the current competition, “Reinvent Fast Food” culminating this week.

Over the last three weeks ten teams competed in two rounds of videos and public voting. The two semi finalists are : The Udon Project’s “The Pad Thai Project,” to promote Pad Thai as a healthy but tasty overseas alternative to traditional fast food and The Beet Squad’s “Food Surge” concept is to introduce a group-based daily deal at local restaurants. Why watch? Because two leading ad agencies, Poke and OgilvyEarth, are paired with a final-round teams to “give the ideas a professional polish and help provide a deeper engagement with a wider audience.” Furthermore the judges are Michel Nischan, Marion Nestle and Whole Foods Market‘s Christina Minardi.

What’s Yoxi? “Yoxi is a project of TTSL, a grant-making foundation dedicated to facilitating socially responsible living, of which Sharon Chang is Managing Trustee.” Tune in before Tuesday at midnight.
