St. Patrick’s Day: Reed’s Moscow Mule

Reed's Ginger Beer

What’s on the menu for St. Patrick’s Day?

There are plenty of recipes out there for corned beef, cabbage, Irish Stew, and all the rest – green tinted or not.

But for Super Chef nothing beats a glass of ginger beer to wake up your palate and your appetite and clear your head just as spring is about to start. Reed’s Ginger Brew sent Super Chef some of their Extra Ginger Brew to try in a Moscow Mule Mug. That sounded appropriate given the unrest in Crimea and the mulish attitude of many Russian politicians – and the bottle is green.

Happy St. Paddy’s Day!

Moscow Mule
2 oz Premium Vodka
8 oz Reed’s Extra Ginger Brew
Lime Wedge

Squeeze a lime into a Reed’s copper mug and drop the wedge into the glass. Add two or three large ice cubes. Then pour in the vodka and fill with Reed’s Extra Ginger Brew. Serve with a stirring rod.

The drink tastes extra good in a copper Moscow Mule Mug, which keeps it especially cold and refreshing.
