Los Angeles to Jamie Oliver: NO!

If you were Jamie Oliver, what would you do?

He picked Los Angeles for the second season of his Food Revolution. Unfortunately for him, the Los Angeles Unified School District turned him down. (Odd that no one on the team check with them BEFORE making the announcement for LA). Still, there are plenty of other school systems that need help, especially in cities where there are fewer chefs working with the schools to improve nutrition.

Any ideas?

Of course, Jamie also has to consider why a school system would say “no” to his crusade. Is it because it would expose the short-comings of the school system that need to be addressed (nationwide)? Or, is it because the show would risk making LA the butt of jokes.
