Intrepid photographer, tennis ace, and gourmet Peter Staples sent Super Chef photographs of guest Chef Todd English at 2011 The David Ortiz Celebrity Golf Classic at the Punta Espada Golf Course in the Dominican Republic..

The Classic directly benefits the David Ortiz Children’s Fund:

committed to aiding children in New England and Ortiz’s native Dominican Republic that do not have access to the critical pediatric services they need. The DOCF is proud to partner with Massachusetts General Hospital and the World Pediatric Project to fulfill its respective missions in New England and the Dominican Republic. These organizations are committed to healing as many children as possible by providing critical pediatric healthcare. Working together, these organizations are increasing the number of children that will receive lifesaving services.

Along with Todd, celebrities included: “Red Sox manager Bobby Valentine, Red Sox players Tim Wakefield and Michael Bowden, New York Yankees legend Bernie Williams and current Yankees Robinson Cano and David Robinson and former Yankee Johnny Damon, and NBA hall of famer Bill Russell.” Fun playing golf for a good cause and no cooking.
