Chefs and restaurateurs looking for the next sleek & chic table wear or objects for their restaurant should look no further than the Design: Istanbul-New York at the international design show: Wanted Design 2013, May 18-20, 2013.

The Turkish part of the show is presented by the American-Turkish Society, which asked five leading designers to curate: Gaye Cevikel, Ferda Kolatan, Defne Koz, Ayşe Birsel Seck, and Ali Tayar.

The objects include Relax, porcelain tableware that creates different patterns when stacked by Tamer Nakisci and and Extra Wine-set, complete with bottle and drinking glass by Ali Bakova.

Show up on May 19 for renowned food artist of Istanbul, Dilara Erbay and designer mixologists of Brooklyn, Guinea Pig Group, who will present a collaborative live performance: “where Turkey’s unique culinary secrets will be paired with the artisanal cocktails of Brooklyn.” Sure, there is plenty more to see at Wanted Design – but don’t miss the Turks!
